The dictionary definition of solo is unaccompanied or having no companion. Everyone on the tour knew at least one other person in the group. I knew no one, not a soul. Not so cliché now?
Going it alone forces you, in a way, to meet people. People who inspire you.
People who help you on your journey.
People who make your experience that much more memorable.
I splurged on the single supplement to ensure some daily "me time" to relax and recharge.
Lastly, being a solo traveler means that in this scrapbook you'll be seeing things through my eyes. You'll see the wonders I saw and, hopefully, my interpretation of them. No selfies, and no pictures of me posing for the camera (although many, many people were kind enough to offer). Enjoy!
