Day 6

Stokesay Castle, Trefriw Woolen Mills
We departed the Cotswolds early in the morning to make the two hour drive to Stokesay Castle. The self-guided tour of the castle included a nice cream tea.
Later, we took a tour of Trefriw Woolen Mills in North Wales. I was excited to see how wool is made into yarn because I do a bit of knitting. We arrived in Conwy at the end of the day. Conwy was the first walled town I ever visited. I couldn't wait to see the sights from atop the walls!
